The Begining

Were to begin my story. I guess at the begin would be the best . I have read many people blogs on there children and how they found out while they were pregnant that they were becoming a heart mom. Well not me… I had a typical pregnancy I was a week over due when I went to the doctor and asked could I be induced.. He told me if the baby was not here by next Wednesday then I could be induced then. Well before he sent me home he wanted me to be on the monitor for an hour. Well the baby heart was fluctuating so he told me that they were going to induce me that day. Put a long story short after 3 days of labor and no baby they decided on a emergency c- section. Treshawn Isaiah Johnson came in the world at 7:36 pm on May 4, 2003. He stayed in the delivery room with me for about and hour and then. She said she was having issues getting his pulse and wanted to take him up to the nursery, as I was coming out of recovery. They were coming down the hall saying he need to go to intensive care. They think something was wrong with his heart. At 8 am that next morning they came in saying my child need to be taken to Cleveland Clinic because he needs surgery he had a hole in his heart. I said not without me. So they transferred us both with in an hour that were I learned he had tetralogy of fallot. He was going in for his first open heart surgery the next morning. At 2 day old my son had his first open heart surgery to put a shunt in.. He was in the hospital for 11 days .. I swear the day Tre was born he taught me how to pray. I thought all my life that I knew how to pray but I was wrong. I also learned a lot about myself that I was stronger then I thought.
